Apple’s iPhone is without doubt the leader in the smartphone market. They’ve had the best selling smartphone for the last 5 years, since the release of the iPhone 3G, and have so far managed to sell 128 million iPhone 5’s. Yes, you read that right… 128 million. That’s almost 50 million more units than Samsung’s Galaxy Slll could manage. At this point, the famous words (or word) of Charlie Sheen must be echoing around Tim Cook’s head…
You’d think by now that there’s no point in finishing the post, but there has been a long rivalry in the smartphone market between Samsung and Apple which is closer than what some people realise, and although Apple have the upper hand now, could it be all about to change?
The Galaxy S4 has become Samsung’s fastest selling smartphone ever. It has sold over 10 million units in 26 days, which previously took the S3 50 days to achieve.
50 DAYS?…
The S4 has been praised on various features, from being super lightweight, to its five inch HD screen. In fact, most would now say that the Samsung screens are considerably better than that of the iPhone’s, and that the android OS is as equally impressive.
Now while it sounds like Samsung have found a winner in the S4, they’ve not crossed the line just yet.
Regardless of what physical features a phone may have, consumers usually make their choice based on what the device is actually capable of. And when it boils down to it, iPhone is still the top dog.
